The Mirbeau Experience

Mirbeau Inn & Spa at The Pinehills is a 50-guestroom spa retreat combining the amenities of a gracious French manor house, a world-class spa, and casually elegant dining, all with the elegant comforts and residential feel of a private estate. The resort is situated on the Village Green in the award-winning community of The Pinehills in Plymouth, MA — minutes away from downtown and the beach. The Inn and Spa buildings are clustered around the sumptuous Monet pond gardens, with exterior architecture, interior décor and landscape design reminiscent of an estate in the countryside near Paris.

“You have everything that a person would need, from food to pampering. I have been to other spas, but the casual comfortable atmosphere you have is perfect!” ~ Mirbeau guest

Resort Facts

Mirbeau, loosely translated as “reflected beauty,” is inspired in part by the soft light, warm colors and introspective character found in the paintings of renowned French Impressionist Claude Monet. Family-owned Mirbeau Inn & Spa at The Pinehills was designed to evoke the warmth, elegance and comfort of a private estate in the countryside near Paris but located in Plymouth, MA.

The Manor House, Guest House, Family Chapel (now repurposed as the Henri-Marie event venue), and surrounding gardens call to mind an old-world style blend of casual elegance, unique and interesting architecture and classic pleasures. The buildings are placed gracefully around the beautiful gardens and ponds inspired by Monet’s own gardens in Giverny, near Paris.

Located on a beautiful, wooded parcel at the eastern end of the Village Green, overlooking the 18th fairway of the popular Rees Jones golf course. This striking combination of a romantic French estate and the natural beauty of The Pinehills Community (located in Plymouth, MA) create the perfect venue for gatherings and getaways.

The historic destination of Plymouth, Massachusetts provides an abundance of nearby attractions and activities in all seasons for guests of all ages, including: fishing, boating, sightseeing in historic Plymouth and the Plimoth Plantation, museums, monuments, whale watching, horseback riding, dinner boat cruises and more.

At Mirbeau, we are as committed to the wellbeing of every guest as we are to our local communities. From donations of spa treatments, Mirbeau products, and overnight stays, to hosting charitable events, our Skaneateles, NY; Plymouth, MA; and Albany, NY inns and spas have contributed to a variety of organizations serving those in need.

As the Mirbeau brand grows, so does our support of charitable organizations with values that align with ours, and our philanthropic efforts focus on those that support women recovering from illness or other life-altering issues. We are proud to support the following organizations:

  • The ESSCO-MGH Breast Cancer Research Fund was established by Albert Cohen in 1994 shortly after his daughter, Lynn, had been diagnosed and treated for breast cancer at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Every penny raised by the fund goes directly to ground-breaking breast cancer research. The ESSCO-MGH Breast Cancer Research Fund is committed to growing its endowment through Community Fundraising Events to further fund even more innovative and ground-breaking cancer research.
  • The Ellie Fund provides essential support services for breast cancer patients to ease the stresses of everyday life, allowing the focus to be on family, recovery and healing. It provides transportation to medical appointments, childcare, housekeeping, groceries and nutritious prepared/delivered meals free of charge through the Healing Together Patient and Family Care Program helps to relieve a patient’s burden while in treatment.
  • Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth helps women with cancer look and feel their best through the Look Good Feel Better program, a non-medical, brand-neutral public service program that teaches beauty techniques to people with cancer to help them manage the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment. The program includes lessons on skin and nail care, cosmetics, wigs and turbans, accessories and styling, helping people with cancer to find some normalcy in a life that is by no means normal.
  • Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth’s Cancer Center provides complete cancer care, from early detection and diagnosis—to the latest therapies and clinical trials. A cancer diagnosis of any type has tremendous impact on a person—and their loved ones. And keeping your care close to home, makes it easier to stay connected with family, friends, and the rest of your busy life.
