Happy first day of fall!
‘Tis the season for sweaters, sunflowers, and pumpkin-spiced everything. Here at Mirbeau, we’re looking forward to the beauty of the New England fall foliage, cool nights by the fire pit in our Monet Gardens, our upcoming Cranberry Bog Dinner Excursions, and – of course- celebrating Thanksgiving in America’s Hometown.
One of our favorite things about fall, though, is a fabulous autumnal cocktail. The flavors of fall- apple, pumpkin, ginger, caramel, cranberry- are found in everything from craft beers to spiked ciders, and we’ve found a way to incorporate them into our new menu of signature Mir’Bucha cocktails.
Known by the Chinese as the ‘tea of immortality,’ kombucha is said to have been created around 220 BC in China. The drink is a tangy, sweet, fermented tea beverage regarded for its healthful benefits and refreshing and unique taste. At The Bistro & Wine Bar, guests may enjoy kombucha cocktails- or Mir’Bucha- like the Spiced Peach ‘Bucha, which was popular this summer.
We’ve just introduced two new Mir’Bucha cocktails to the menu, just in time for fall;
Spiced Apple Mir‘bucha
Over a scoop of ice, combine 1 ½ ounce Apple Cider, 1 ½ ounce Spiced Rum,
2 dashes simple syrup, shake to mix well.
Top off with Apple Kombucha
Garnish with Cinnamon Baked Apple Slice
Cranberry Harvest Mir‘bucha

2 dashes ginger simple syrup, shake to mix well.
